                  Introduction HRC endeavors to develop volunteer services by engaging  community members to provide care to patients and operational support to  various departments in the Hospital, so as to promote the spirit of mutual help  and build up a harmonious community. People aged 15 or over are welcome to join  our volunteer services. The first group of hospital volunteers started service in June 2001. HRC  organizes volunteer recruitment and training  periodically to equip community members to become hospital volunteers. For enquiries, please contact us at 2208 1259.

                      Hospital  Summer Volunteer ProgramCollaborated  with the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, HRC organizes this program  during every summer holidays. It aims to enhance youth’s understanding on  hospital operations and patient needs. By serving in different departments and  patients, they can learn teamwork and foster caring attitude to patients in  need.
 
 
                      Hospital  Play Volunteer ServiceIn order  to facilitate paediatric patients to adapt to hospital environment and  treatment, play volunteers are well trained by hospital play specialists from  Playright Children’s Play Association.
