The spokespersonfor Queen Elizabeth Hospital(QEH) today (August 20) reminded members of thepublic to stay alert tofraudulent calls.
     
   As informed by members of the public,calls claiming to befrom QEH were received in the form of pre-recordedmessages or directconversations, falsely claiming to have emergencynotifications. QEH hasreported the matter to the Police.
 
   QEH reiterates that hospital staffwill contact patientspersonally by phone and provide relevant information toverify their identity.Members of the public are advised not to disclosepersonal information duringany unidentified phone calls and to report anysuspected fraudulent calls to thePolice.
