I am writing to express my gratitude for your excellent skills in repairing my daughter’s cleft palate. I would like to apologize for my doubt during her recovery when she still had speech problems. I was apparently misguided by outside information. As parents, we blamed ourselves for identifying the cleft so late (at 3 yo), thus at times were desperate to find ways to help her and lost sight of the whole picture.

Her speech had greatly improved in recent months, which I reckoned as impossible if not for the surgery.

My daughter did not use any painkillers after discharge as she insisted there was no pain in the mouth, thanks to your excellent surgical skills.

I hope you sail through in your career and help many more patients. Please also take good care of yourself along the way!
