Introduction
The Hospital Authority (HA) Global Healthcare Professional Recruitment Centre
(“the Recruitment Centre”) was established in December 2023 to coordinate the recruitment and exchange programmes of
non-locally trained healthcare professionals from around the world.
With the establishment of the Recruitment Centre, HA would continue to leverage on the success of recruitment of
Non-locally Trained Doctors (NLTDs), to extend the recruitment to suitable non-locally trained healthcare professionals,
especially for nursing and allied health staff upon the anticipated enactment of the amendments of Nurses Registration Ordinance
and the Supplementary Medical Professions Ordinance, which will provide new pathways for admission of qualified non-locally trained
healthcare staff. In addition, we will continue to attract global healthcare talents to join HA for exchange.
