Hospital Chief Executive Dr LEE Tsz-leung Hospital Governing Committee Hospital Governing Committee Introduction The Hong Kong Children’s Hospital (HKCH) has commenced service in phase since late 2018. It specializes in complex, serious and uncommon paediatric cases requiring multidisciplinary care, providing diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation for patients with relevant clinical needs from birth to 18 years of age. HKCH also collaborates with universities for pursuing research on paediatric and genetic diseases. As a tertiary referral centre, there is no accident and emergency department or general outpatient clinic in HKCH. All patient cases must be referred by registered doctors in public hospitals or the private sector. HKCH strives to achieve excellence in paediatrics by enhancing clinical service quality, improving patient experience, promoting research and stepping up training, while ensuring financial sustainability.
