Introduction
Founded by a group of missionaries in 1955, the hospital has evolved to become a hospital providing subacute medical care, comprehensive rehabilitation and long term care under the auspices of Haven of Hope Christian Service and the Hospital Authority. Its specialist services include general medicine, geriatrics, rehabilitation, pulmonary, palliative care, orthopaedics (rehabilitation), and infirmary services. Its mission is to care for its patients in a holistic, progressive and respectful manner, and to help them and their families face disease, pain and even death with dignity and peace. Besides the specialist services it provides within its walls, it also cares for discharged patients and others living in the community.
