Introduction

Established in 1949 by Hong Kong Tuberculosis, Chest and Heart Diseases Association, Ruttonjee Hospital was transformed from a tuberculosis sanatorium. Since 1998, its management has been integrated with that of Tang Shiu Kin Hospital. With a solid foundation of comprehensive elderly services and given the unique geographical location in Wan Chai District of Hong Kong Island, RH maintains its role in its accident and emergency services, and other selected specialist services.
