3. Symptoms

Persistent
chest pain, not relieved by rest or nitroglycerin
tablets. |

Pain
nature differs with individuals' severe pressure,
crushing, compression, heaviness, radiating to shoulders,
arms (esp. the left), neck, jaw and back. |

Patients who had angina should
go to emergency room when chest pain cannot be
relieved within 10 minutes after taking three
tablets of nitroglycerin.

Patients who did not have heart
disease should attend for emergency room when
chest pain lasts more than 2 minutes.
