1. Causes:

2. Symptoms

Fail to pump out enough blood to supply the need of the body

Shortness of breath

Unable to lie down

Acute pulmonary edema

Fluid retention and abdominal distention

3. Management:
Control the intake of salt and water
Avoid overwork to reduce the workload of the heart
Control and treat any reversible causes of heart failure
Medications
Heart transplantation for end-stage patients
