Governance Structure

The Hospital Authority Charitable Foundation (HACF) is governed and managed by the Board of Trustees with membership appointed by the Hospital Authority (HA) Board. To enhance the transparency and accountability of HACF, and to engage community participation, at least two trustees are appointed from outside HA.

The HACF Board of Trustees meets regularly to consider various matters of HACF, including development direction of the Foundation, consideration of applications, allocation of funds, monitoring of progress of the funded projects, review of financial position etc.

HA provides administrative and executive support to HACF.
