Temporary Storage of Electric Wheelchair

The Hospital Authority has implemented the temporary storage service of electric wheelchair in public hospitals since March 2017. In-patients who are electric wheelchair users having difficulty in sending the wheelchair home can store their wheelchair during hospitalisation and take it back when they are discharged. This service allows patients to receive treatment without worrying about storage of the wheelchair, and save family’s hassle to transfer the wheelchair in and out of hospital.
