Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program for Practising Doctors who are not taking CME Program for Specialists

Background

The Medical Council of Hong Kong (MCHK) has implemented the CME Program for Practising Doctors who are not taking CME program for specialists with effect from 1 October 2001. The Hospital Authority(HA) is one of the CME Program Providers accredited by the MCHK. As a CME Program Provider, the HA can award credit point for CME activities in accordance with the guidelines laid by the Medical Council.


Objectives

The HA, as a renowned training ground for specialists, advocates continuous professional development to meet healthcare needs of patients/clients and to accomplish healthcare outcomes. The main objective of this program is to encourage doctors who are not taking CME program for specialists to keep themselves informed and up-to-date of the current development in various fields of professional practice with an aim to maintain quality professional practice.


Target Particpants

All practising doctors who are not taking CME program for specialists are welcome to enroll to our CME activities.
