Maternal and child health centre (MCHC) aims to promote child and women health by providing evidence-based and quality assured service.
To promote holistic health (including physical, cognitive, emotional and social health) and wellbeing of children, MCHC implements an integrated child health and development program with the core components of parenting, immunization, health and developmental surveillance for assisting parents to bring up healthy children confidently.
Apart from child care services, MCHC also provides women health service through a comprehensive health promotion and disease prevention program offered to all women at or below 65 years of age. The program covers areas on sexual & reproductive health, psycho-social health, physical health & lifestyle, providing health education, antenatal & postnatal care, family planning services and cervical screening test.
