I. DEPARTMENT INFORMATION

The Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences provides special services for patients with eye diseases. The services include out-patient, in-patient and emergency eye services.

In our-patient department, there are both General and Sub-specialty clinics for patients with different categories of eye disease. Comprehensive care is provided through the service. The in-patient service provides various investigation and treatment to those patients with special eye problems. Most patients requiring operation will receive in-patient service for better professional care. Besides, our department plays an active role in training nurses, medical students and doctors.

In addition to clinical services, the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences also coordinates in academic research in order to achieve highest standard of service.
