Department Information
The Department of Orthopaedics & Traumatology have 39 doctors, 53 nurses and 44 other staff. It takes care of more than 7,000 admissions and about 60,000 out-patient consultations each year. Besides clinical service, teaching and research are the two other major workloads of the Department.
The Department consists of the following sub-specialty sections : Children Orthopaedics, General Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement, Hand Surgery and Microsurgery, Spine and Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, Traumatology and Tumor Surgery.
