Patient Resources and Social Centre The centre provides patients with services such as inquiry, counselling, educational and recreational activities. These would facilitate them to build up interpersonal and social skills, to learn daily living skills and to foster work habits, interests and hobbies so as to re-integrate to the society. Scope of Service 1. Inquiry and Counselling Service Information on mental health and psychiatric rehabilitation is provided for patients, families and the public through counselling, health talks, exhibitions and discussions. 2. Integrated Services Through recreational and community activities, patients develop their own personal interests and learn to enjoy the leisure time so as to reduce the pressure of daily living and to foster their sense of responsibility and civic awareness. The centre also provides different facilities such as recreational facilities, audio and visual equipment, patients' cafe, patients' library, mini theatre and barber shop, etc. 3. Volunteer Service The centre recruits volunteers, organizes training and coordinate voluntary services to patients.
