Dietetic Department

Dietetic Department aims to provide a customer focused catering service and high quality clinical dietetic service at the optimum level of efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Scope of Service:
1. In-patients
a. Provide nutritious and tasty meals and nourishment to patients.
b. Assess patients' nutritious needs.
c. Develop diet pattern for patients with metabolic illness and altered eating behaviour
d. Counsel patients, relatives and carers on diet management and nutritional problems.
e. Provide dietetic consultative service for other health care professionals.

2. Out-patients and Community
a. Provide dietetic consultative service for other clustering psychiatric centres.
b. Provide nutritional talks for psychiatric institutions.
