Psychiatric Out-Patient Clinic

Scope of service:
  1. Psychiatric consultation and medical treatment
  2. Psychiatric nursing service
  3. Drug therapy
  4. Psychotherapy, which include behavioural therapy, group therapy, family therapy.
  5. Triage for new case booking
  6. Tracing defaulters, especially for priority follow up cases
  7. Case management, counselling and referral services, e.g. Community Psychiatric Nursing service, Community Psychiatric Outreach Team, various laboratory investigations, X-ray examinations, referral for EEG, CT Scan and psychiatric in-patient service
  8. Medical Social Services
  9. Supported Employment services
  10. Psycho-education activities

Psychiatric Day Hospital

Programs of the psychiatric day hospital aims at enhancing client's functioning in the areas of community living, social skills, work, self-care, drug-taking and other independent living skills.

In order to facilitate community re-integration, multi-disciplinary team members, including psychiatrist, nurse, occupational therapist, medical social worker and clinical psychologist work closely together to formulate and implement individualized rehabilitation programmes.
