Community Psychiatric Team (CPT)
Community Psychiatric Team adopts patient-centred and problem-oriented approach. Through assertive outreach, patients are assessed and treated in their home environment. Clients can call the hotline (Tel: 23070276) when an emergency arises, and a crisis intervention will be provided. Community Psychiatric Team also pays regular consultation visits to community psychiatric agencies.
Catchment Area
CPT provides services to the following districts:

| 2. | Shamshuipo |
| 3. | Kwai Chung, Tsing Yi, Tsuen Wan |
| 4. | Wong Tai Sin |
| 5. | Tung Chung of Lantau Island |
Target Client
The following groups are the main target clients of CPT services
| 1. | Clients, not known to mental health service, suspected to be mentally ill |
| 2. | Defaulters of psychiatric out-patient clinic or hospital in-patients |
| 3. | Patients suffering from psychotic mental illness |
| 4. | Patients with aggressive or suicidal tendency |
| 5. | Age above 16 |
How to Make a Referral
CPT accepts referrals from the following sources
| 1. | Social Welfare Department |
| 2. | Non-Government Organizations |
| 3. | Any doctor, from health department or general practitioners |
