Guidelines on Preparation of Abstracts

  • Selected abstracts will be printed in the format as per sample (please click here for the sample). When typed in single-space in English (Times New Roman) with 12 point font size, the total number of words would be about 300.
  • Authors should type their initials and last name, but not degrees, titles, or institutional appointments. The name(s) of the institution(s) where the work was carried out should follow the list of authors and annotated respectively with Arabic numerals in superscript (see sample).
  • Standard abbreviations should be used. Special or unusual abbreviation should be in parentheses after the term when it appears for the first time.
  • A limited number of tables or graphs (in black) may be included.
  • Submission should be in Word format. Print or fax copies of abstracts will not be accepted.
  • Abstracts may be rejected for publication if illegible or not conforming with the standard format. The Organizing Committee reserves the right for the final editing of the abstracts.

Deadline for Submission of Abstracts: 31 January 2004
